What size meal should I choose?

Most meals come in four different options and the exact calorie/kilojoule totals and macro-nutrient breakdown varies between meals. If you are aiming for a specific daily intake or are interested in the macronutrient break down you can find out how our meals can fit into your goals in the articles section of our website. Additionally, a detailed nutrient breakdown can be found on the cover of all meals and in the images of products listed on the website. Generally speaking the meals can be broken down to the following:

  • Heavy – Ideal for those trying to put on weight or build muscle mass. Generally, higher in carbohydrates
  • Lean Large – Depending on your caloric requirements, the lean large and lean small are perfectly sized for maintenance and weight loss.
  • Lean Small – Lean small generally has reduced carbohydrates to help kick start weight loss.
  • No Carb – Fitmeals Australia has a number of options where carbohydrates are removed and are generally protein dense and easy on the calories/kilojoules. These are ideal for people following diets based around carb reduction/removal.

How can I order meals?

Meals can be ordered through our website directly or through our stockists. Order cut off times are in place to ensure we can prepare fresh ingredients for the cooking and delivery days. Currently delivery to pick-up locations take place every Monday and Thursday.

  • Orders for Monday delivery must be made (either online or through stockists) by Saturday 9pm.
  • Orders for Thursday delivery must be made (either online or through stockists) by Tuesday 9pm.

Do you deliver to my home?

Yes, Fitmeals Australia does deliver directly to customer homes.  Since our meals are prepared freshly, they require certain storage standards to maintain quality. Due to this, we are unable to leave meals at homes unattended. 

The delivery window is: 

Monday (Orders in by 9:00pm prior Saturday): 12:00pm to 6:00pm

Thursday (Orders in by 9:00pm prior Tuesday): 12:00pm to 6:00pm

If a delivery is taken to a home and no-one is available to receive the order the meals will be taken to the Power Supps Cleveland stockist location. It is then the customers responsibility to collect the order from this stockist.  

If you need to make changes to your order in terms of pick up location / delivery. Please contact us prior to the delivery day.

What time do I need to pick up my order from the stockist?

Orders are delivered to pick-up / stockist locations twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. The availability for pickup depends on the stockists opening hours. Some fitness studios may operate outside of regular office hours. For this reason we recommend contacting your stockists to confirm a collection time. The meals are all prepared and delivered in the same day and generally will arrive at the pickup locations in the morning. When the meals are delivered all customers that have ordered through the website will be notified by email that their order is ready for collection.

Are the meals frozen?

No, Fitmeals Australia prides itself on being able to offer high quality fresh meals at competitive prices. We recommend consuming the meals within four (4) days of picking up your order, however freezing meals yourself can extend its shelf life.

Can I order directly through a stockist?

Currently, all our stockists allow for orders to be made directly through them. This option is at the discretion of the stockist / pick-up location and is subject to change.

How should I store the food at home?

We recommend storing the food in their containers in the fridge until they are to be consumed. As the meals are freshly prepared, they should be consumed within four (4) days of receiving your order. To cover your whole week, you can consider having orders on both the Monday and Thursday delivery days. Freezing the meals upon receiving them is also a possible option, however they will lose some of its freshness. Keep in mind that some meals will freeze better than others. (e.g. We recommend freezing curry over stir fry meals).

Do I need to prepare or cook anything to add to the meal?

All our meals are prepared with taste and health in mind. We receive overwhelming positive feedback on the flavour in our meals. However, depending on the meal and serving type chosen may affect the overall flavour of a meal. If you feel you need a little extra kick, we recommend adding some chilli sauce (little to no calorie brands) or some dry condiments to suit your tastes. This will ensure your meals calorie / kilojoule intake will remain within your fitness goals. I have specific food requirements; can I still order meals?

Yes, however some food requirements have not been incorporated into our menu as of yet. Currently, many meals will be shown as gluten free on the menu. In future, we hope to expand into other avenues such as vegetarian and vegan options. If you have specific allergies or other specific food requirements and are unsure about what you can order, feel free to contact us at info@fitmealsaustralia.com.au and we will be happy to guide you in your options.

What if I make an order but I am unable to pick it up on the day?

Once we receive payment for an order on a specific date we will ensure it is available at the pick-up location that day. Here, the meals will remain in the stockist’s fridge for two (2) days. If the meals are unclaimed and we are unable to arrange something with you, the meals will then be collected and returned to the Fitmeals Australia kitchen. You will then need to contact us to arrange collecting the meals. If this is not done within an additional two (2) days the meals will be disposed of in line with our health and safety policy. How do I choose a pickup location / stockist?

Before you place your order, please refer to the “Stockists” link in the menu. Here you will be able to find the closest pick up location suitable for your needs. **IMPORTANT** Stockist operating hours may affect the availability of when you can collect your order. Please click on each of the nearby stockists to view their details on the map. These details will include the staffed / operating hours and any other information you will need to know before choosing that stockist for your pickup location.

How do I cancel / manage my subscription orders with Fitmeals Australia?

From www.fitmealsaustralia.com.au you can access your subscriptions by clicking on the person icon at the top left of the webpage. From your profile, you will see a “manage my subscriptions” link on the right side of your profile page. This page will allow you to customise various aspects of your subscription including cancelling your subscription completely.
